This past weekend’s EVO 2017 was jam packed with news galore! And an opportune chance to show off and divulge a great amount of information for the upcoming 2018 releases of competitive games! Square Enix was not to be left out of the discussion per the video below.

With that being said Square Enix has revealed that the upcoming Team Ninja Collaboration for Dissidia Final Fantasy will have a closed beta for the North American, Latin American and PAL regions! You can register per your respective region below:

North American and Latin American residents can register to participate here, and PAL region residents can register here.

Dissidia Final Fantasy NT is due out for PlayStation 4 in early 2018.

Four New Persona 5 Trailers

What’s Up PlayStation Nation!

Atlus released four new trailers for their upcoming JRPG Persona 5.

The trailer showcase new characters the Phantom Thieves will encounter during their adventure. Giving the player certain buffs while fighting in dungeons.

  • Shinya Oda – A shooting game fanatic who knowns everything about guns. Even though he’s young, he assists the Phantom Thieves with learning new skills to use in battle
  • Ichiko Ohya – A journalist who enjoys the occasional drink. Additionally, she enjoys writing news about the Phantom Thieves and can give them fame as well as valuable leads.
  • Chihaya Mifune – A fortune-teller who isn’t just trying to take your money. Speaking with her can add buffs to the party that they can take with them into dungeons.
  • Yuuki Mishima – A social media savvy high school student who figures out the identity for the Phantom Thieves. Speaking with him can increase EXP earned in dungeons as well as add buffs to party members.

Gamers we have been given a very special treat today! A new story trailer for Horizon Zero Dawn has been released out into the world for us all to enjoy. The Last of Us Part II PSX 2016 Trailer

What’s Up PlayStation Nation,

Before the PlayStation Experience 2016 conference was over, Shawn Layden said “oh there is one more thing”. Stating the game is in early development PlayStation fans was presented with The Last of Us Part II trailer and it was glorious. After the PSX 2016 conference Naughty Dog held a panel for The Last of Us Part II, giving the theme for the game which is “hatred”. They also revealed that Ellie will have the lead role for the anticipated sequel.

Marvel vs Capcom Infinite Trailer and Gameplay Reveal

It is truly a great time to be a fighting game fan right now. During PlayStation Experience 2016 conference, Marvel vs Capcom Infinite was reveal. The trailer shows both Ryu and Megaman X vs Iron Man and Captain Marvel colliding  while using the power from the Infinity Stones. Marvel vs Capcom Infinite is set to release in late 2017. I’m super excited to see what characters from the Marvel side will they implement, also happy to see a rebranding of such an classical franchice.

The Last Guardian Latest Trailer

With The Last Guardian only a few weeks away from it’s December 6th, 2016 release into fans hands. PlayStation release their latest CG trailer that debuted in US theaters this week. A beautiful trailer showing the boy running away from some mysterious armored soldiers and the leap of faith he will have while creating a bond with Trico.
