Megaman 11 announced for PS4 in 2018

What’s Up PlayStation Nation,

Capcom just released a myriad of information today. Not only were we informed of the details for this weekends Capcom Cup  at PSX. But also we’ve just been informed of Mega Man 11 coming for PS4 and other consoles. In 2018.   You can check out the trailer and details below:

There are few iconic video game heroes with a legacy as legendary as Mega Man’s. It’s been 30 years since the original 8-bit classic first released and made its mark on the side-scrolling action genre, influencing games for years to come, and even still today. As a new entry to the classic series created by a talented, veteran development team at Capcom, the tight side-scrolling action-platformer gameplay fans have come to expect makes a return while completely revolutionizing the game on PS4. Get ready to jump and shoot your way through uniquely designed stages in any order you choose before tackling all-new bosses and claiming their weapons as your own!

The core gameplay that Mega Man fans expect is met with an all-new visual direction with the introduction of a 2.5D style featuring 3D character models and beautifully hand-drawn environments that mark a huge leap forward for the series. Its Mega Man like you’ve never seen him before, complete with a new look that retains his instantly recognizable style while giving him a fresh, modern design.

Mega Man 11

Looks like Mega Man is taking more than fashion cues from his enemies, too. It’s well-known that our hero changes colors when he switches to different weapons obtained from defeated Robot Master bosses, but take a close look at the trailer. In Mega Man 11, you’ll see he now takes on characteristics of bosses he’s foiled when wielding their weapons!

Mega Man 11

Mega Man 11 has plenty for both new fans and series veterans to enjoy! Classic characters, including Mega Man’s canine companion Rush, will make their return to help Mega Man along the way. A variety of difficulty options are also available to ensure that everyone from newcomers to hardcore fans can enjoy the rewarding, challenging gameplay the series is known for.

This is just the start of Mega Man’s 30th anniversary, and we have even more in store to celebrate the Blue Bomber’s history throughout the anniversary year in 2018. If you’re a fan of the futuristic Mega Man X games, we’ve got great news for you – all eight Mega Man X games are coming to PS4 next year! Without further ado Bandai Namco has released the official Kid Buu gameplay trailer for Dragon Ball FighterZ.

You can check out the trailers below of Kid Buu, Gotenks, Android 18 and 16,

(Editors Opinion: I’m hoping for a full on grappler character. So far however Cell is the only player who some what fits the feel of a character I’m looking forward to using the most. However I am optimistic for more variety in the roster so far. For the most part we’ve been pretty much able to guess to some degree who would be included in the game. However I still look forward to playing this fighter in the future and you can most definitely expect The Online Arcade to host many a tournaments of this title in the future.)

Dragon Ball FighterZ will launch for PlayStation 4 January 26th in the US and EU and February 1st in Japan. What do you think of the roster so far are there any characters you hope to see implemented before the games official release? Comment below let us know. Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite Introduces Black Widow, Venom and Winter Soldier to the battle

What’s Up PlayStation Nation,

Happy holidays as we begin this week with some interesting news as released today via Capcom and the PS Blog here’s what they’ve laid out about the characters so far and you can check out the trailer with details below:

Young soldier Bucky Barnes fought alongside his best friend Captain America during World War II. Presumed dead after a dangerous mission ended in tragedy, he was captured by enemy forces and secretly brainwashed into becoming a deadly assassin known as the Winter Soldier. Bucky, now free from his captors, is once again ready to fight for the good of humanity.

Winter Soldier excels at ground combat using special moves that send the opponent flying across the screen and projectiles that bounce off the walls and floor. Bucky can activate metal shield, which utilizes his cybernetic arm to turn him into an anchor, allowing him to ignore attacks without taking any damage!

Trained extensively in the art of combat and espionage and outfitted with state-of-the-art tech, Natasha Romanova is the super spy known as Black Widow. Dutiful and fearless, she is a master assassin who found her true calling as an Avenger. She now fights to protect the world from Ultron Sigma’s influence.

As a deadly spy, Black Widow has tools for every situation. Her unique acrobatic jump can be performed in mid-air and followed up with one of her many tricky projectiles with the press of a button. Natasha also showcases her skills in hand-to-hand combat with her trusty electric batons.

Blaming Peter Parker for the failure of his journalism career, former Daily Bugle reporter Eddie Brock bonded with a malevolent, symbiotic alien creature who had previously attempted to bond with Peter. United by the goal to destroy Spider-Man, they are the fearsome force known only as Venom!

Prepare for the unexpected with Venom’s shapeshifting abilities. As a frightening force on the battlefield, Venom can launch himself across all angles of the screen and has no issue manipulating the opponent’s options to favor his own.

Everyone who has the 2017 Character Pass will unlock access to Winter Soldier, Black Widow, and Venom on December 5 — along with the previously released Black Panther, Sigma, and Monster Hunter. Each character is also available for purchase individually.

Free Demo Weekend: 11/24 to 11/27

Capcom will have a free demo available this weekend from November 24 at 8:00 AM Pacific to November 27 at 8:00 AM Pacific, exclusively on PS4! The Demo will include All 30 launch characters so make sure to check it out this upcoming weekend and see if marvel is right for you!

(Editors Opinion: honestly Venom looks better than expected. It really seems as if the DLC characters have had more effort into their fighting style and art design more so than the default rosters of characters in this edition of MVCI. However minus the not so appealing looks this game is tons of fun. I do really appreciate the work put into the Winter Soldier, Venom and Black Widow for this DLC and I hope they are fun and accessible as they currently look to be. Only time will tell once we get our hands on it. The next TOA tournament should be pretty interesting with the inclusion of these fighters!)

With that being said What do you think of the new trio of  characters heading to MVCI soon. What other characters would you like to see for the next set of characters comment below let us know. For news like this and more make sure to keep us bookmarked and check back with us here at What’s Up PlayStation.

Check Out The New Super Daryl Deluxe Trailer

What’s Up PlayStation Nation,

Like new games? Are you looking for new experiences? Well we may have a little something for your game cravings. As reported and revealed via the PlayStation Blog. Dan and Gary Games have revealed Super Daryl Deluxe a new gaming experience heading to PS4. You can check out the trailer and details below:

It all started way back in the before times when Gary studied game design at the Rochester Institute of Technology. You see, Gary used to like games and wanted to create his own, except he couldn’t do it by himself. He needed someone blessed with talent to make his dream come true. So, sitting in Gary’s childhood room one summer away from college, Gary finally suggested to me (blessed with talent) that we try making a game to get babes. He would program and I would learn how to draw and use a computer.

Like all great games, Super Daryl Deluxe was inspired by our experiences from high school. I’m not entirely sure what the goal was at this stage, because neither of us could have imagined the sheer scale of the game nearly five years later. It must’ve been equal parts staving off boredom, a desire to rekindle the stupid crap we used to laugh at with our friends, delusion, and an ultimatum from the Saudi government.

Super Daryl Deluxe

The project basically began as a half-baked RPG duct-taped together with a stupid collection of inside jokes told through the lens of a character named Daryl Whitelaw – the greasiest, most unsavory, mouth-breathing, business-in-the-front-party-in-the-back, bottlenecked new kid we could conjure. The working title of the project was I Survived, a nod to the statement on the front of the shirts Gary and I sold in high school that documented the harrowing events our class had to endure, like Swine Flu and the time the principal told us we couldn’t sell shirts.

Super Daryl Deluxe is an RPGvania with brawler-style combat set inside of a perfectly normal, sprawling, multi-dimensional high school. The game sports a customizable style of combat. Whether it’s melee or poison or combo or utility skills, Daryl’s mysterious self-help book grants him dozens of neato tush-kicking options to cater to almost any playstyle (there are no golfing skills, I’m afraid). He can only equip five at a time, of course, so finding the right combination that works for you is key. And like any combat game worth its salt, every skill can be upgraded to unlock its full potential.

(Editors Opinion: I look forward to this game as it sports a gaming style more to my personal preference. I love the 2D style side scroller brawler type games. As this looks up my alley as my inner trophy whore is honestly intrigued to play this title. One can only hope that since it doesn’t release this year that hopefully there will be a playable build available at this years PSX.)

What do you think of this trailer? Are you interested? Could you see yourself playing this or are you tired of the Metroidvania type games overall? Comment below let us know. For news like this and more keep us bookmarked and make sure to check back with us here at What’s Up PlayStation.

PlayStation announces changes ahead for PSX 2017?

What’s Up PlayStation Nation,

Well it’s only a few weeks away from greatness that is known as PSX. As you know many of us here at the What’s Up PlayStation team are going to be in attendance of PSX. And this year there will be more of us than usual alongside new members of the WUPS team being announced soon. With that being said on the announcement side of things. It has been announced via the PS Blog that things will be a bit different for PSX this year. Mainly for those fans who may not be in attendance of the event who usually look forward to a keynote event sadly it seems there will not be a keynote this year.

This year will be the first of the past PSX events to not have a key note presser for the event.  It has been reported that Early Bird ticket holders for PlayStation Experience will be granted access to an exclusive presentation at the Anaheim Convention Center the evening of Friday, December 8 starting at 8:00pm Pacific Time. There is said to be a few surprises and more however as far as the traditional keynote we all expect when it comes to PSX, it seems that will be absent this year in some capacity. However there will still continue to be the traditional panels to be streamed via the usual channels of Twitch and YouTube.

Edit: It seems that we have been updated via Sid Shuman which he has stated via the PS Blog. The keynote event will take place on Friday evening instead of Saturday. And this special event is only available to early bird ticket holders.

Key Note

This news may or may not be a bit disappointing. However it should be said that there will still be announcements via panels and exclusive hands on access to games at the event for those in attendance. However this is a definite change that will grasp the attention of many who have come to expect to see this event even when they are not in attendance.

With that being said the PSX show floor will also be open longer than usual.

Show Hours

Saturday

10:00am to 10:00pm

Sunday

10:00am to 10:00pm

And tickets are still available for purchase.Which you can purchase via the link below.

Other devs said to be in attendance so far are Sucker Punch Productions, Media Molecule, with more to be announced in the coming days. It’s said that the show floor has been expanded by 50% which is amazing considering the size of the show floor if you were in attendance last year.
