(Editors Opinion: These are some great deals and bundles I’ve particularly got my eye on the PSVR GT Bundle that’s a steal for $199.99 even though I’m not a huge GT Sport fan personally by any stretch who can beat so such a great give away. At any rate these deals are sure to maintain some dominance during the holidays. My only gripe is that I would’ve like to have seen a permanent price drop for the PSVR and the PS4 Pro Collectively. However there still may be time as we enter 2018. However as of now as far as we know these are the best deals around for entering the PlayStation family.)

What do you think of these deals? Are you interested? What are you looking to pick up this holiday a shiny new PS4 Bundle or a PSVR Bundle. We’d love to hear your thoughts. Comment below let us know. Black Clover: Project Knights Heading to PS4

What’s Up PlayStation Nation,

As announced from Bandai Namco via the Black Clover website it has been revealed that the game based on the manga and anime, Black Clover: Project Knights will be heading to PS4 only in Japan and presumably PS4 and PC in the future in the west. As of now there’s not much info to go off on at this time other than there is word of more information being released on December 18th. As of now there’s not much to go out outside of this very, very small announcement trailer.

(Editor’s Opinion: I haven’t seen much of this anime or read the manga outside of viewing a few Gifs images of this series. However I am intrigued and I am hoping that it provides something fresh and new. I love games like J Stars and so forth but I want a bit of a deeper experience with these newer anime / manga to console iterations. Here’s hoping that we’ll see something new and fresh alongside more than just a name. Here’s to more great games and hopefully more innovation in the console anime/manga space.)

What do you think? Are you a fan of the series? Do you think this will be what you hoped for? Comment below let us know. And news like this and more make sure to keep us bookmarked and check back with us here at What’s Up PlayStation.

Megaman 11 announced for PS4 in 2018

What’s Up PlayStation Nation,

Capcom just released a myriad of information today. Not only were we informed of the details for this weekends Capcom Cup  at PSX. But also we’ve just been informed of Mega Man 11 coming for PS4 and other consoles. In 2018.   You can check out the trailer and details below:

There are few iconic video game heroes with a legacy as legendary as Mega Man’s. It’s been 30 years since the original 8-bit classic first released and made its mark on the side-scrolling action genre, influencing games for years to come, and even still today. As a new entry to the classic series created by a talented, veteran development team at Capcom, the tight side-scrolling action-platformer gameplay fans have come to expect makes a return while completely revolutionizing the game on PS4. Get ready to jump and shoot your way through uniquely designed stages in any order you choose before tackling all-new bosses and claiming their weapons as your own!

The core gameplay that Mega Man fans expect is met with an all-new visual direction with the introduction of a 2.5D style featuring 3D character models and beautifully hand-drawn environments that mark a huge leap forward for the series. Its Mega Man like you’ve never seen him before, complete with a new look that retains his instantly recognizable style while giving him a fresh, modern design.

Mega Man 11

Looks like Mega Man is taking more than fashion cues from his enemies, too. It’s well-known that our hero changes colors when he switches to different weapons obtained from defeated Robot Master bosses, but take a close look at the trailer. In Mega Man 11, you’ll see he now takes on characteristics of bosses he’s foiled when wielding their weapons!

Mega Man 11

Mega Man 11 has plenty for both new fans and series veterans to enjoy! Classic characters, including Mega Man’s canine companion Rush, will make their return to help Mega Man along the way. A variety of difficulty options are also available to ensure that everyone from newcomers to hardcore fans can enjoy the rewarding, challenging gameplay the series is known for.

This is just the start of Mega Man’s 30th anniversary, and we have even more in store to celebrate the Blue Bomber’s history throughout the anniversary year in 2018. If you’re a fan of the futuristic Mega Man X games, we’ve got great news for you – all eight Mega Man X games are coming to PS4 next year! Jak PS2 Collection Heading to PS4 as “PS2 on PS4 Classics” this December

What’s Up PlayStation Nation!

As you may have previously read we recently reported on a deal  Jak and Daxter being on sale via CDkeys.net for a whopping 3 bucks. Now as reported via the PS Blog. In efforts to complete the circle completely: Jak II, Jak III and Jak Racing is new heading to PS4 as a PS2 on PS4 classic. You will have the option to purchase these title as a bundle or individually.  Check out the trailer below and find out what the Bryan Pardilla of SIEA had to say:

Jak 3 on PS4

Jak II on PS4Jak X Combat Racing on PS4

On October 14, 2003, Naughty Dog released Jak II for the PlayStation 2 system, and something amazing happened for the Jak and Daxter franchise: Jak was able to speak for the first time, enabling players to hear and experience Jak’s own point of view using his voice, instead of relying solely on Daxter’s witty banter and exposition. This was the start of something special, and the franchise continued to reach new heights with the release of Jak 3 and Jak X, in part because of this one simple addition.

Jak II on PS4

By giving Jak a voice, it allowed Naughty Dog to explore new narrative techniques that allowed them to create a grittier world with a much more developed and evolved storyline. Jak and Daxter evolved from whimsical lighthearted platforming characters to a much darker vision of a future’s past world where Jak and Daxter find themselves pitted against multiple dark forces moving against them.

Jak II on PS4

The narrative tropes Naughty Dog explored in Jak and Daxter laid the foundation for the evolution of their highly innovative story telling. It put them on the path that led to the creation of future blockbuster franchises like Uncharted and The Last of Us— and to think it all started with giving Jak his own voice.

Jak 3 on PS4

In celebration of Naughty Dog’s rich heritage, it is with great pleasure that we present to you these Jak & Daxter classics on the PS4.

Wait, there’s more! To help make experiencing these games even more nostalgic, please check out the Legacy Dashboard Theme ($2.99) on the PlayStation Store, also available on December 6.

Legacy Dashboard Theme

(Editors Opinion: I’m very stoked to play these games although a bit frustration due to bad camera restraints of the First Jak and Daxter. I am looking forward to probably adding these titles to the list of games completed for my inner trophy whore. However I must admit since prior to the recent PS2 on PS4 release, I hadn’t played the Jak Series until recently. But since playing these titles I am definitely looking forward to experiencing this classic again. However a part of me wishes that it was a full fledged remake on par with the Ratchet and Clank re-imagining.)

But enough of what we think. What do you think of this news are you interested in replaying these if you have played these before? Are you interested or uninterested in the Jak series. Comment below let us know. For news like this and more make sure to keep us bookmarked and as always be sure to check back with us here at What’s Up PlayStation.

Kid Buu and more Joins the Fight in Dragon Ball FighterZ

What’s Up PlayStation Nation,

It was much anticipated and sought after after the news broke out some time ago that Kid Buu Would be joining the roster of Dragon Ball Fighterz. This news left many fans clamoring to see the latest iteration of gameplay of the pink world destroyer. Without further ado Bandai Namco has released the official Kid Buu gameplay trailer for Dragon Ball FighterZ.

You can check out the trailers below of Kid Buu, Gotenks, Android 18 and 16,

(Editors Opinion: I’m hoping for a full on grappler character. So far however Cell is the only player who some what fits the feel of a character I’m looking forward to using the most. However I am optimistic for more variety in the roster so far. For the most part we’ve been pretty much able to guess to some degree who would be included in the game. However I still look forward to playing this fighter in the future and you can most definitely expect The Online Arcade to host many a tournaments of this title in the future.)

Dragon Ball FighterZ will launch for PlayStation 4 January 26th in the US and EU and February 1st in Japan. What do you think of the roster so far are there any characters you hope to see implemented before the games official release? Comment below let us know. And news like this and more make to keep us bookmarked and check back with us here at What’s Up PlayStation.

Now, with the help of Xianglu the descendants are ready to wreak havoc and reclaim leadership over the world in the name of the Yan Emperor…

Check out the trailer below:

(Editors Opinion: I’ve long waited for this game to reach U.S PS Stores. I’ve actually downloaded this via the EU PSN and there wasn’t anyway to play to this as it was region blocked which was such a disappointment because I was sooo eager to get in on the action. However this game looks fun and gives a Dragon Crown-ish type feel if you’ve noticed in the trailer! At any rate this game looks to be a fun experience.)

What do you think of the trailer and gameplay? Does this interest you to give it a try? It is a free to play after all I believe. Comment below and let us know your thoughts? Make sure to keep up bookmarked and check back with us here at What’s Up PlayStation.

For those attending the event, there will also be a signing session following the panel.

(Editors Opinion: Well I’ve never been a panel guy it mainly would depend on the game but each I’ve attended PSX I’ve found at least one Panel that grabs my attention last year it was the Horizon panel. This year it will probably be Uncharted Anniversary Celebration.  With Hopes to meet the great Nolan North! It would be nice for PlayStation and Naughty Dog to possibly hold a tournament of sorts for Uncharted during the anniversary for more serious players like myself and others who would more than likely be in attendance for PSX but one can only hope. Overall the panels seem pretty solid I will also be on the look out for the Sucker Punch Ghost of Tsushima Panel as I’m very eager to get my hands on this title! At any rate PSX is a great event to attend to get a taste of industry events like these on a not so crowded level in comparison to E3 so to speak.)

What do you think are you excited for PSX next week will you be in attendance at PSX? What panels are you looking forward to seeing? Lastly what events would you like to see included as a showcase at PSX? Comment below let us know for news like this and more make sure to keep us bookmarked and check back with us here at What’s Up PlayStation.
