(Editors Opinion: I am absolutely happy that this is coming to the states I didn’t get a chance to play this and many other fighters last gen as it was a real pain to get access to titles like these last gen. However it seems that PlayStation is making no excuses and bringing the most anticipated fighters state side this gen. I really find it coincidental that I was actually streaming this game last night as well and was hoping to hear word on a U.S. release. And with today’s news the wait will finally be over as I will double support this game in hopes of receiving other fighters like this stateside one can only hope we’ll get titles suck as melty blood and others on the PS4 before this generation is over. Here is a preview of my stream of this fighter last night! Check it out!)

With that being said and shown, what do you think of this upcoming fighter? Does it interest you. Are you excited for more fighters and what other fighters would you hope to see coming to the PS4 this gen? Comment below and let us know. For news like this and more make sure to keep us bookmarked and check back with us here at What’s Up PlayStation.

We’ve learned a little bit about the story and focus of the game via the FK Digital Website but here’s a run-down of the game so far.

A popular radio station spreading its love of groove with some of the beset DJs in the world. Providing tunes to groove to throughout the day. Its true purpose is to serve as the radio station of justice, beating evil down with a ginormous hammer! To ensure peace and harmony, Radiohammer continues to go live with style! Radiohammer Station is a rhythm action game where you match your button presses to the beat of the song! Ensure peace in the world by slamming on your enemy using the power of funk! From zombies and aliens to horribly naughty perverts, the DJs of Radiohammer must face and overcome a wide variety of villainous baddies. Trouble always seems to follow the four DJs. They’re always called upon to fight the bad guys with the help of their manager and trusty hammer. Watch out for the big bosses at the end of each episode! Stay alert or you’ll get hammered by their fierce attacks.

Andrew House Steps Down as President & Chief Executive of Sony Interactive Entertainment

What’s Up PlayStation Nation,

In an abrupt wave of shock and multiple outlets reporting, It has been revealed that PlayStation Boss, President and Chief Executive Andrew House has stepped down from his position in SIE effective immediately as Deputy President John Kodera will assume his position. It has been stated that “House will remain on as a director and the chairman of SIE “through the year to ensure a smooth transition,” the statement said.

As of now there is no specific reasoning behind this move as it has caught many of us off guard in the same manner that the departure of former PS Boss Jack Tretton leaving PlayStation as Shawn Layden assumed his role.

Sources from Polygon report: House has been with Sony since 1990 and, after moving from corporate communications into marketing for what was then called Sony Computer Entertainment, he was involved in the launch of the first PlayStation. He took over as president and chief executive of SCE (SIE since 2016) in 2011, replacing Kazuo Hirai, who is now the president and chief executive of all of Sony.

Alongside this news via the Wallstreet Journal it reports that  The sales of 78 million PlayStation 4’s  have been sold under House’s leadership and PlayStation has grown into subscriber base of 70 million. It also noted the launches of PlayStation Vue and PlayStation VR under his term. “He has grown the Game and Network Services segment into one of the key profit drivers for the Sony Group,” the statement said.

“PlayStation has been a huge part of my life for more than 20 years but with the business having achieved record-breaking success, now seemed to be the right time for me to pursue new challenges,” House said in Sony’s statement. “John and the team at SIE are world-class and I know the future of PlayStation is very bright.”

It should be noted however that John Kodera has been with the PlayStation brand for while also as he has played a role in creating partnerships launches such as PlayStation Vue, PlayStation Video, and PlayStation Music, which is partnered with Spotify.

Upon the news of the change in roles Kodera stated:

“I intend to build on the amazing progress Andy has made enhancing the PlayStation brand and expanding the game and network services business,” Kodera said in Sony’s statement, “and will strive to further strengthen the unique value proposition we are able to offer via the PlayStation platform.”

Editors Opinion: We can only hope as PlayStation fans that the transition is smooth and that this change won’t effect the current quality of games and flow of things we’ve come to love this PlayStation generation. It also makes me curious as toward how the PS5 and PlayStation Experience events will change or if they will continue to transpire going forward. I’m not too educated on the inner workings of this level of business so from the outside looking in as a fan. One can only hope this doesn’t drastically effect what we know and love from the PlayStation Brand.

Enough of my thoughts, tell us what you think of this news so far? How do you think it will affect the PlayStation Brand? What do you want and do not want to see? Comment below and let us know. For more news make sure to check back with us here at What’s Up PlayStation.
