Persona 5 Standard Edition Comes With A Little Extra

What’s Up PlayStation Nation,

It’s been almost 4 years since we’ve been introduced to the gaming goodness known as Persona 5. The 5th entry into the series has been highly anticipated among JRPG and PlayStation fans alike. Since it’s  2013 TGS reveal fans have been chomping at the bit to get their hands on this anticipated gem. Although our far-eastern PlayStation family have had their hands on the title since September 2016. Atlus seems to be willing to make good on the wait for the western fans by giving us something special even for those of you who haven’t pre-ordered the limited steel book edition and “Take Your Heart” collectors edition. But have no fear Atlus has you covered.  All standard editions will include a limited edition controller sticker. Which I personally think is really cool by the way.

Persona 5lect

This will be included in limited amounts of the standard editions I presume. So make sure to check your local listings to get your hands on one of these limited controller skins as supplies may be limited. I must add these skins look pretty darn sweet. As of now word on if these skins are included in any other editions but this provides a nice little incentive for those who may be feeling left out or were unable to snag a steel book or collectors edition. Atlus has also included a tutorial video for those who may need a little bit of help on applying the skins to your Dual-Shock 4 controllers which you can check out the video below:

Persona 5 is only a few short weeks away and released April 4th. Are you interested in picking up this title? Or does this give you incentive, or motivation to purchase this upcoming game? Comment below and let us know. For this and all things PlayStation make sure to check back with us here at What’s Up PlayStation.

The Vanguard Edition comes with a lot of goodies:

  • Titanfall 2 Vanguard Pilot Helmet Replica: For the first time, the iconic Titanfall® Pilot helmet has been brought to life in this 1:1 full scale replica. Developed from the in-game models and enhanced with real world details and materials, this faithful recreation is masterfully sculpted and features a battle worn painted finish. Featuring mixed material elements, the helmet includes a battery operated blue light-up translucent faceplate, blue status/task light, functional tactical ARC rail system/an adjustable interior head strap and display stand. As a unique bonus the helmet also includes over ten button activated unique voice transmissions from Jack Cooper’s Vanguard class Titan, BT-7274.
    • Helmet measures approximately: 30.48cm (W) x 26.67cm (H) x 39.37 (D)
  • Tactical Helmet Accessories: No Pilot’s helmet would be complete without its two essential accessories, a tactical spotlight and targeting laser sight. These two battery operated helmet accessories are designed to be mounted on the ARC rail system of the helmet. Independently operated, the functional mounted spotlight will light up the night and the simulated laser sight features a super-bright non-projected red LED.
  • Dog Tag Flash Drive: A Pilot’s secrets must be carefully guarded, and what better way to keep them close than to store them inside your dog tag. This 8GB USB custom flash drive cleverly retracts into the dog tag on an 18″ metallic ball chain.
  • Pilot SRS Field Journal: An essential accessory for every Pilot, the field journal is 3” x 4.5” and features an aluminum case, pen and Vanguard Squad logo.
  • Squad Morale Patches: Proudly display your squad affiliation with two morale patches, Macallan’s Marauders and Ion, with male Velcro-style hook backing to secure onto loop patches of helmets, uniforms, tactical vests, and backpacks. Each patch is approximately 3” wide and features intricately detailed custom printed artwork with embroidered details.
  • Vanguard Shemagh Scarf: The Vanguard Shemagh Scarf is designed to protect a Pilot’s head and neck from the sun and blowing sand of harsh alien environments.  The Vanguard Scarf measures 42” x 42” and features an original custom designed Titanfall pattern, making it an essential multi-use travel tool for every Pilot in your squad.

The Marauder edition is smaller, but still quite rich:

  • Titanfall 2 Game
  • Titanfall 2 Illuminated Pilot Bust: Highly detailed and game accurate classic style bust which brings to life the daring Pilot Jack Cooper featured in the new edition of the game. Measuring approximately 7″ tall, this masterpiece edition is digitally sculpted from the modeling files used to create the Titanfall® 2 cinematics.
