I honestly only hope that this trend continues on the next PS4 console and that they use this application as a base for the PS5 or whatever forthcoming console/ hardware they have in store. I really wish that this was available as an option for the PS Vita [Remember that hand held anyone?]. However I can settle for the PS4 as of now. But still my point remains that I hope the good folks at PlayStation continue to build on this application as a standard moving forward for PlayStation related hardware.)

The adventure mode from what we see so far send the player on quest to uncover the games story. The multiplayer mode allows players to use their favorite characters from the series and participate in online and offline battles. The upcoming season of characters from the series are to be included in the game as well. You can check out the trailer below:

(Editors Opinion: This game looks amazing and I’m loving the visual effects presentation of this. It comes off as a mix of a fighter mixed with JRPG elements. If you have played the early PS4 exclusive J_Stars this seems to be a bit similar to that. I look forward to getting my hands on this game to possibly platinum if it doesn’t to be too difficult. I really the group elements of the game for modes like 2V2 and so forth. This is definitely be on my watch list in 2018.)

The Seven Deadly Sins: Knights of Britannia releases on PS4 January 25th in Japan and February 9th in North America and Europe. But what do you think of the trailer are you interested in the game? Have you watched the series that currently plays on Netflix? Who are you favorite characters from the series. Comment below let us know. That’s right a month long celebration of Uncharted in all it’s glory.

Naughty Dog has also released a new video which you can view below that revisits some of the most memorable moments from Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune through Uncharted: The Lost Legacy (Feels coming in 3..2…1):

In addition to the feels you may have just experienced. PlayStation and Naughty Dog games are offering a new Uncharted 10th Anniversary PS4 system theme and profile avatar, which will be available for free for 48 hours — from Sunday, November 19 at 8:00 AM Pacific until 8:00 AM Pacific, Tuesday, November 21. Naughty dog has revealed that they will  wrap up the Uncharted 10th Anniversary celebrations at PlayStation Experience with event activities, including a special retrospective panel featuring members of the cast of Uncharted and a show floor puzzle room experience set in a life-sized recreation of Nate’s Attic!

(Editors Opinion: I love and I mean love the Uncharted franchise. But I must admit I haven’t finished all of the remasters of the Nathan drake collection. I’m also a bit disappointed that Golden Abyss hasn’t reached the PS4 for our enjoyment. However, after receiving this news. I am a bit more motivated to go back and relive all those great moments in Uncharted 1-3 once again. And I also hope that from this news. It brings more awareness to Uncharted: The Lost Legacy. I am hoping to see more games with Nadine Ross and Chloe Frazier. I’m also looking forward to that Uncharted Theme as I personally love all “good” dynamic themes on the PS4 hopefully this can dethrone the Persona 5 themes but that’s a conversation for another day.)

What do you think of this news. Are you interested for this month long celebration? What was your first Uncharted game and what were some of your personal favorite moments? Last but not least, what do you hope to see at the PSX special event panel? Comment below let us know. Yukiko and More Join the Fight in BlazBlue Cross Tag Battle

Whats Up PlayStation Nation,

If you’ve been following our Online Arcade articles here at What’s Up PlayStation. It should be no secret we’re looking forward to this Blazblue Cross Tag Battle. In our previous trailer reveal it was announced that no further reveals would take place until November, well fellow gamers November is here and we’ve got the scoop on this months reveal! As you can see via the image Yukiko is first to be revealed for this month. I’m sure Arc System Works will reveal more info as the month closes. But for now you can see the trailer below and let us know what you think.

So as you can see via the above trailer. Gordeau from Under Night In-Birth, Yukiko Amagi from Persona 4 Arena, and Azrael from BlazBlue will be playable in BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle. So with these 3 being announced that leaves us with a pretty tender roster thus far.  Ragna the Bloodedge, Jin Kisaragi, Rachel Alucard, Hazama, and Noel Vermillion from BlazBlue; Yu Narukami, Yosuke Hanamura, and Chie Satonaka from Persona 4 Arena; Hyde, Linne, and Waldstein from Under Night In-Birth; and Ruby Rose and Weiss Schnee from RWBY.

received_10203867839934624.png

This month’s reveal so far haven’t announced any particular characters from RWBY so with December fast approaching here’s hoping that we can hear more about some pivotal RWBY characters as well more from Under Night In Birth. But for now we can assume a pretty robust roster as this weeks reveals brings us up to 15 Playable Characters for the up coming fighter! So far it seems there’s someone for everyone. Arc System Works however has yet to give us a release window but many can expect this to release after Dragon Ball FighterZ as it would give both titles a bit of time to flourish and breath I assume.

But what do you think of this months trailer? Are you excited for these characters? Who would you like to see, How many characters do you hope to see on the final Roster? Comment below let us know. Make to sure to keep us bookmarked and check back with us here at What’s Up PlayStation.

Check Out The New Super Daryl Deluxe Trailer

What’s Up PlayStation Nation,

Like new games? Are you looking for new experiences? Well we may have a little something for your game cravings. As reported and revealed via the PlayStation Blog. Dan and Gary Games have revealed Super Daryl Deluxe a new gaming experience heading to PS4. You can check out the trailer and details below:

It all started way back in the before times when Gary studied game design at the Rochester Institute of Technology. You see, Gary used to like games and wanted to create his own, except he couldn’t do it by himself. He needed someone blessed with talent to make his dream come true. So, sitting in Gary’s childhood room one summer away from college, Gary finally suggested to me (blessed with talent) that we try making a game to get babes. He would program and I would learn how to draw and use a computer.

Like all great games, Super Daryl Deluxe was inspired by our experiences from high school. I’m not entirely sure what the goal was at this stage, because neither of us could have imagined the sheer scale of the game nearly five years later. It must’ve been equal parts staving off boredom, a desire to rekindle the stupid crap we used to laugh at with our friends, delusion, and an ultimatum from the Saudi government.

Super Daryl Deluxe

The project basically began as a half-baked RPG duct-taped together with a stupid collection of inside jokes told through the lens of a character named Daryl Whitelaw – the greasiest, most unsavory, mouth-breathing, business-in-the-front-party-in-the-back, bottlenecked new kid we could conjure. The working title of the project was I Survived, a nod to the statement on the front of the shirts Gary and I sold in high school that documented the harrowing events our class had to endure, like Swine Flu and the time the principal told us we couldn’t sell shirts.

Super Daryl Deluxe is an RPGvania with brawler-style combat set inside of a perfectly normal, sprawling, multi-dimensional high school. The game sports a customizable style of combat. Whether it’s melee or poison or combo or utility skills, Daryl’s mysterious self-help book grants him dozens of neato tush-kicking options to cater to almost any playstyle (there are no golfing skills, I’m afraid). He can only equip five at a time, of course, so finding the right combination that works for you is key. And like any combat game worth its salt, every skill can be upgraded to unlock its full potential.

(Editors Opinion: I look forward to this game as it sports a gaming style more to my personal preference. I love the 2D style side scroller brawler type games. As this looks up my alley as my inner trophy whore is honestly intrigued to play this title. One can only hope that since it doesn’t release this year that hopefully there will be a playable build available at this years PSX.)

What do you think of this trailer? Are you interested? Could you see yourself playing this or are you tired of the Metroidvania type games overall? Comment below let us know. For news like this and more keep us bookmarked and make sure to check back with us here at What’s Up PlayStation.
