(Editors Opinion: I am absolutely happy that this is coming to the states I didn’t get a chance to play this and many other fighters last gen as it was a real pain to get access to titles like these last gen. However it seems that PlayStation is making no excuses and bringing the most anticipated fighters state side this gen. I really find it coincidental that I was actually streaming this game last night as well and was hoping to hear word on a U.S. release. And with today’s news the wait will finally be over as I will double support this game in hopes of receiving other fighters like this stateside one can only hope we’ll get titles suck as melty blood and others on the PS4 before this generation is over. Here is a preview of my stream of this fighter last night! Check it out!)

With that being said and shown, what do you think of this upcoming fighter? Does it interest you. Are you excited for more fighters and what other fighters would you hope to see coming to the PS4 this gen? Comment below and let us know. PlayStation announces changes ahead for PSX 2017?

What’s Up PlayStation Nation,

Well it’s only a few weeks away from greatness that is known as PSX. As you know many of us here at the What’s Up PlayStation team are going to be in attendance of PSX. And this year there will be more of us than usual alongside new members of the WUPS team being announced soon. With that being said on the announcement side of things. It has been announced via the PS Blog that things will be a bit different for PSX this year. Mainly for those fans who may not be in attendance of the event who usually look forward to a keynote event sadly it seems there will not be a keynote this year.

This year will be the first of the past PSX events to not have a key note presser for the event.  It has been reported that Early Bird ticket holders for PlayStation Experience will be granted access to an exclusive presentation at the Anaheim Convention Center the evening of Friday, December 8 starting at 8:00pm Pacific Time. There is said to be a few surprises and more however as far as the traditional keynote we all expect when it comes to PSX, it seems that will be absent this year in some capacity. However there will still continue to be the traditional panels to be streamed via the usual channels of Twitch and YouTube.

Edit: It seems that we have been updated via Sid Shuman which he has stated via the PS Blog. The keynote event will take place on Friday evening instead of Saturday. And this special event is only available to early bird ticket holders.

Key Note

This news may or may not be a bit disappointing. However it should be said that there will still be announcements via panels and exclusive hands on access to games at the event for those in attendance. However this is a definite change that will grasp the attention of many who have come to expect to see this event even when they are not in attendance.

With that being said the PSX show floor will also be open longer than usual.

Show Hours

Saturday

10:00am to 10:00pm

Sunday

10:00am to 10:00pm

And tickets are still available for purchase.Which you can purchase via the link below.

PlayStation Experience 2017 | Buy Tickets

The list of developers in attendance is still being sorted but so far we do know that we’ll get an update on titles such as dreams which they’ve released a teaser trailer which you’ll be able to view below. Other devs said to be in attendance so far are Sucker Punch Productions, Media Molecule, with more to be announced in the coming days. It’s said that the show floor has been expanded by 50% which is amazing considering the size of the show floor if you were in attendance last year.

With that being said more details in regards to more info on developer panels, autograph signings, merchandise updates, Capcom Cup and other activities. With that being said you can expect to see and hear more via the WUPS team this December at PSX 2017. Let us know what do you think of this change to this years PSX? Are you still excited or are you disappointed comment below and let us know with that being said make sure to keep us bookmarked and check back with us here at What’s Up PlayStation.

PlayStation Collectible Card Will make an Appearance once again at PlayStation Experience 2017

What’s Up PlayStation Nation,

If you know anything as far as this gen is that PlayStation has been particularly smart when it comes to showing it’s hand (no pun intended) when it comes to information and events, at least this gen. Well die hard fans of PlayStation related memorabilia can rest assured as it has been revealed today via the PlayStation Blog that there will be collectible cards once again. For those of you who may not have had the chance of attending PSX these cards are used not only as collectibles but task in order order to gain access to certain events, prizes and other sorts, even demo access. This year’s PSX plans to keep that same element alive as it has just been revealed that these collectible cards will available at this years PlayStation Experience in Anaheim, CA. As reported via the PS Blog here’s a look of some of the cards you can look forward to collecting below:

Cards

Capture

Attendees will also get the chance to earn PlayStation Trophy Cards by completing certain quests at the event — find out how via the Experience PlayStation app once the show starts.

Your Bronze Trophy card is already “in the bag” (meaning you’ll get one just for attending — it’ll literally be in your gift bag). You may be asking, “How can I get the rest of the cards?” The answer is simple (sorta). They’ll be located at certain locations and booths on the show floor, and you might even need to play a demo to earn some of them. Which locations/booths/demos? Well, you’ll need to figure that out on your own.

Editors Opinion: Although fun for a bit the reality is that some of the quest and demo kiosk that you may have have to attend in order to retrieve some of these collectibles will be daunting and a serious task. Take it from experience (3 time attendee) these lines depending on the popularity of the game can be a bit or very discouraging. Which my suggestion would be if you are not attending alone to the PSX your best bet would be to split up into teams and try to endure the long waiting for your collectible cards, or gaming goodies in a bit of a strategic fashion. That’s just one tip of many on how to retrieve these collectible cards.

What do you think? Are you fond of these PlayStation Collectible cards? Will you be attending PSX this year? What games are you looking forward to seeing and or hearing about? Do you have any excitement at all for PSX? Don’t forget that PSX 2017 will be December 9th-10th at Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, CA which PlayStation Experience 2017 tickets are available now. Comment below and let us know. For news like this and more make sure to check back with us here at What’s Up PlayStation.
