You can view the trailer for the open beta below:

(Editors Opinion: I’m looking forward to this game. And I’m very much so hyped to play this title weekend, alongside Dragon Ball FighterZ Open beta as well! I’m hoping this has a more in depth tutorial with actual commentary. I was privileged with taking part in the private beta but the tutorial was a bit lacking to say the least. However I enjoyed the game very from my limited play through and this game looks absolutely gorgeous. I am very much looking forward to playing the final build upon it’s release.)

What do you think? Are you going to try this RPG brawler open beta? What Final Fantasy character do you look forward to using? What Final Fantasy characters do you want to see added later that may not be in this current iteration? Comment below let us know. ( Editors Opinion: I’m very much looking forward to this open beta as we here at the WUPS crew were in the previous closed beta. Although it was a closed beta and it was very enjoyable while playing the game. However the downside of the previous beta was the process of catching the available times of the lobbies to be open for players. It was very tedious and a bit of a hassle, however this open beta seems to be a bit more lenient as we have yet to hear any information of this being limited due to play time. Which is a great thing because this game launches in a few weeks and they need to overload the servers to see how they will be able to handle such a large player count especially on the PS4 end. With that being said I am eagerly waiting for this weekend to approach so that I may once again get a chance to play the greatness that is Dragon Ball FighterZ! )

Will you be picking up this title? Dragon Ball FighterZ will launch for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on January 26th North America and Europe, and February 1st in Japan. For news like this and more make sure to keep us bookmarked and check back with us here at What’s Up PlayStation.

What’s Up PlayStation Nation,

FGC fans and Anime Fighter enthusiast have much to rejoice upon as Bandai Namco has recently announced new fighters such as “Hit, Beerus and Goku Black”  are heading to it’s upcoming Arc System works fighter. But as much surprise Bandai Namco has released more news as they’ve officially stated that:

Alongside with the above stated news Bandai Namco has released some details about the upcoming characters and a trailer which you can view below:

Goku Black

Goku Black will receive assistance from Zamasu, such as holding down the opponent when firing a “Kamehameha.” Using his giant scythe and hand-blade, Goku Black can attack from a distance with long reach, never giving his opponent a chance to retaliate.

Dragon Ball FighterZ

Dragon Ball FighterZBeerus

Beerus is the God of Destruction of Universe 7. He restrains his opponent while using “Spheres of Destruction” that explode upon touch, all the while gradually cornering his opponent with what is not even the full extent of his God powers.

Dragon Ball FighterZ

Dragon Ball FighterZHit

Hit uses his “Time-Skip/Molotov” technique to attack as if he is warping. He also uses technical skills, such as automatically counter-attacking when attacked in a defensive stance, to drive into his opponent with ultra high speed attacks.

Dragon Ball FighterZDragon Ball FighterZ

(Editors Opinion: I’ve been steering clear of Dragon Ball Super but at this point I have no choice but to binge watch as I’m looking forward to be caught up with the show’s latest story arc by the release of this much anticipated fighter. However I simply cannot stress enough of how beautifully put together this fighter is. The Cell shading of this looks amazing when you view the trailers of the game. I simply cannot wait to see more gameplay of not only Hit and Beerus but Android 21 as well. This will definitely be a day one purchase for me.)
With that being said, Dragon Ball FighterZ will launch for PlayStation 4, and other platforms on January 26 in the Americas and Europe, and February 1 in Japan. What do you think of the open beta details and this new trailer? Are you personally interested? Do you think this will live up to the expectations for fighting game fans and those who that say Dragon Ball Xenoverse 1 and 2 didn’t live up to the hype?
