The Dragon Ball FighterZ open beta will run from January 14 at 12:00 a.m. PT / 3:00 a.m. ET / 9:00 a.m CST to January 16 at the same time. Users who pre-order the game will gain early access to the open beta on January 13, also at the same time.

( Editors Opinion: I’m very much looking forward to this open beta as we here at the WUPS crew were in the previous closed beta. Although it was a closed beta and it was very enjoyable while playing the game. However the downside of the previous beta was the process of catching the available times of the lobbies to be open for players. It was very tedious and a bit of a hassle, however this open beta seems to be a bit more lenient as we have yet to hear any information of this being limited due to play time. Which is a great thing because this game launches in a few weeks and they need to overload the servers to see how they will be able to handle such a large player count especially on the PS4 end. With that being said I am eagerly waiting for this weekend to approach so that I may once again get a chance to play the greatness that is Dragon Ball FighterZ! )

Will you be picking up this title? Dragon Ball FighterZ will launch for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on January 26th North America and Europe, and February 1st in Japan. For news like this and more make sure to keep us bookmarked and check back with us here at What’s Up PlayStation.
