Check out the Dissidia Final Fantasy NT Open Beta Trailer

What’s Up PlayStation Nation,

Today is the start of the busy weekend for PlayStation Gamers. Today PlayStation has release a trailer to introduce and prep gamers for the upcoming RPG Brawler coming to PS4 consoles soon. Dissidia Final Fantasy NT is a new brawler from Square Enix and Koei Tecmo coming to PS4 on 30th January. Known in arcades across Japan as Dissidia Final Fantasy, the latest installment of the fighting franchise features three-versus-three combat and a roster full of characters from all ages of the Final Fantasy saga. You can view the trailer for the open beta below:

(Editors Opinion: I’m looking forward to this game. And I’m very much so hyped to play this title weekend, alongside Dragon Ball FighterZ Open beta as well! I’m hoping this has a more in depth tutorial with actual commentary. I was privileged with taking part in the private beta but the tutorial was a bit lacking to say the least. However I enjoyed the game very from my limited play through and this game looks absolutely gorgeous. I am very much looking forward to playing the final build upon it’s release.)

What do you think? Are you going to try this RPG brawler open beta? What Final Fantasy character do you look forward to using? What Final Fantasy characters do you want to see added later that may not be in this current iteration? Comment below let us know. Final Fantasy XV Multiplayer Expansion Comrades Delayed

What’s Up PlayStation Nation,

Final Fantasy XV has spoken of how it’s planned to keep the marquee title alive and well beyond it’s single player DLC in the past and we’ve reported on the previous Multiplayer expansion details. This week it has been revealed in a press release via Final Fantasy XV’s Twitter that the multiplayer expansion was set to release at the end of this month on October 31st but since has been set to release a bit later. Here’s what they had to say below:

“Due to final adjustments and to create the best possible experience, the online expansion Final Fantasy XV: Comrades will now be released in early November,” Square Enix

Editors Opinion: The Multiplayer was fun as well as surprisingly expansive as it showed some promising offerings. The action was fluid as well. My only personal hope is that the FFXV community that’s left truly gives this shot. It was a fresh and fun experience with friends but based on my experience within the time frame of the beta match making did require a bit of work and I feel based on my experience from the beta that this will be heavily reliant on player engagement. So if this this does not gain the correct response from gamers who may not be used to this change in content from a mainline FF title, it may or may not thrive. Of course this is just an early assumption. I hope it does well based on the efforts taken however as it is a very fun experience. But with the late implementation and desire of other games it could be a bit of a tricky road to entice gamers who have since completed the game’s mainline story.

This comes as no surprise just about as the beta build we’ve previously play was in need of a few fixes. This is not necessarily bad news as it’s better to have to a delayed game than a broken game as “some” gamers these days feel. But at any rate fans who have been excited for this expansion will have to hold off a bit longer. But what do you think? Are you looking forward to the Multiplayer expansion? Are you or aren’t you interested in the online implementation of a mainline Final Fantasy game later having online elements? We’d love to hear your thoughts so leave your comments below. Editors Opinion: I must admit as a bit of a newcomer to the series myself I am bit taken by how much information there is available to intake for each character. But I am fully dedicated to putting in the time to learn these characters ( Especially, Cloud, Squall and Noctis ) I would also hope that more characters are in the pipeline from other Fantasy titles of the past but only time will tell.

What do you think of this information so far. Does this motivate you to learn more about the Dissidia Series? Are you interested at all now that this is a console first for the series? World of Final Fantasy Demo Arrives Next Week

What’s Up PlayStation Nation,

From the first time my eyes saw World of Final Final, I instantly fell in love with the game. From the whimsical charm to the character design it displays, World of Final Fantasy has been on my personal top list of the most anticipated games to play this year. Square Enix doesn’t want to just reach the RPG enthusiast, they want a wide array of gamers on the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita to gain interest for this title. Earlier today Square Enix announced that the World of Final Fantasy will receive an playable demo on October 17th for the PS4 and PS Vita. If you complete this demo, it will grant you something special in the full game when it releases October 25th, 2016. Are you ready? I just hope it’s a Cloud Strife summon. For anyone that pre orders World of Final Fantasy, they can secure the day one Sepiroth summon and original Japanese Voice Overs.

Final Fantasy XV Officially Delayed

What’s Up PlayStation Nation,

final fantasy XV

It appears that all the rumors relating to a possible Final Fantasy XV delay, turned out to be true. Final Fantasy XV has now been confirmed by Square Enix, to now being released two months later on November 29th, 2016.

According to Director Hajime Tabata, the reasons for the delay it will give them more time for an update. Which was going to be used as a “day-one patch”. He also stated it will also be used to “conduct quality testing” and add “further polish” towards the game..

My opinion: This is a huge missed opportunity by Square Enix. September 30th was a great date for the Final Fantasy XV. Giving the game some ample time to be played, before the huge holiday onslaught of other beloved titles. The original release potentially had the chance to bring those who are weary on a new Final Fantasy installment, a possible purchase of the game.

What are your thoughts on the Final Fantasy XV delay? Let us know in the comment section below.
