( Editors Opinion: I’m very much looking forward to this open beta as we here at the WUPS crew were in the previous closed beta. Although it was a closed beta and it was very enjoyable while playing the game. However the downside of the previous beta was the process of catching the available times of the lobbies to be open for players. It was very tedious and a bit of a hassle, however this open beta seems to be a bit more lenient as we have yet to hear any information of this being limited due to play time. Which is a great thing because this game launches in a few weeks and they need to overload the servers to see how they will be able to handle such a large player count especially on the PS4 end. With that being said I am eagerly waiting for this weekend to approach so that I may once again get a chance to play the greatness that is Dragon Ball FighterZ! )

Will you be picking up this title? Dragon Ball FighterZ will launch for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on January 26th North America and Europe, and February 1st in Japan. For news like this and more make sure to keep us bookmarked and check back with us here at What’s Up PlayStation.

Black Clover: Project Knights Heading to PS4

What’s Up PlayStation Nation,

As announced from Bandai Namco via the Black Clover website it has been revealed that the game based on the manga and anime, Black Clover: Project Knights will be heading to PS4 only in Japan and presumably PS4 and PC in the future in the west. As of now there’s not much info to go off on at this time other than there is word of more information being released on December 18th. As of now there’s not much to go out outside of this very, very small announcement trailer.

(Editor’s Opinion: I haven’t seen much of this anime or read the manga outside of viewing a few Gifs images of this series. However I am intrigued and I am hoping that it provides something fresh and new. I love games like J Stars and so forth but I want a bit of a deeper experience with these newer anime / manga to console iterations. Here’s hoping that we’ll see something new and fresh alongside more than just a name. Here’s to more great games and hopefully more innovation in the console anime/manga space.)

What do you think? Are you a fan of the series? Do you think this will be what you hoped for? Comment below let us know. And news like this and more make sure to keep us bookmarked and check back with us here at What’s Up PlayStation.

The adventure mode from what we see so far send the player on quest to uncover the games story. The multiplayer mode allows players to use their favorite characters from the series and participate in online and offline battles. The upcoming season of characters from the series are to be included in the game as well. You can check out the trailer below:

(Editors Opinion: This game looks amazing and I’m loving the visual effects presentation of this. It comes off as a mix of a fighter mixed with JRPG elements. If you have played the early PS4 exclusive J_Stars this seems to be a bit similar to that. I look forward to getting my hands on this game to possibly platinum if it doesn’t to be too difficult. I really the group elements of the game for modes like 2V2 and so forth. This is definitely be on my watch list in 2018.)

The Seven Deadly Sins: Knights of Britannia releases on PS4 January 25th in Japan and February 9th in North America and Europe. But what do you think of the trailer are you interested in the game?
