Gotenks, Kid Buu, and Adult Gohan Joins Dragon Ball FighterZ Roster

What’s Up PlayStation Nation,Dragon Ball FighterZ ScanIn the latest issue of V-Jump, new Dragon Ball FighterZ information was released. Kid Buu, Gotenks, and Adult Gohan were recently adding to the lustrous roster for the highly anticipated Dragon Ball FighterZ. Thanks to ShonenGamez, for the scan with these three newly announced characters.  Details on the Arcade mode were also given. Explaining that players will face against multiple AI opponents, whether you win or lose it will determine the path you’ll take and who will face during your arcade play-through. Dragon Ball FighterZ will have a shop where you’ll be able to buy different color sets for characters and special titles using the in-game money that you earned. Dragon Ball FighterZ is set to release on January 26th, 2018.

Here is a brief breakdown on Kid Buu, Gotenks, and Adult Gohan:

Kid Buu

  • Power: 4
  • Speed: 4
  • Reach: 3
  • Technique: 4
  • Energy: 4

kid buuKid Buu has tricky attacks that make use of his elastic body. Since he has both power and speed, he can be a troublesome foe. He has unpredictable movements, such as stretching into the shape of a ball. His Meteor special attack is “Planet Burst”—that attack that destroys the earth. The opponent stands no chance once it hits.

  • Power: 3
  • Speed: 4
  • Reach: 1
  • Technique: 3
  • Energy: 4

gotenks SSJ3Unleash special moves with extremely flashy names one after the next! Continuous attacks that put adults to shame, with powerful special moves that don’t fail to live up to their name. Use the “Super Ghost Kamikaze Attack” to summon ghosts that deal damage upon impact. Use the Meteor special attack “Charging Ultra Buu Buu Volleyball” to imprison your opponent within multiple rings in the shape of a ball. From there, one of your team members will jump in and start playing volleyball. Finish it off with a spike! The scenes for some of Gotenks’ special moves will change depending on the combination of team members.

Adult Gohan

  • Power: 3
  • Speed: 4
  • Reach: 3
  • Technique: 4
  • Energy: 2

mystic gohanBorrowing the power of Old Kai, Gohan unlocked his potential. With special attacks, his abilities have significantly improved. Use all of the Ki Gauge to unlock your potential! Depending on the amount of the Ki Gauge consumed, the magnification of Gohan’s abilities increase will change. Gohan’s Meteor special attack is “Ultimate Kamehameha.” Neither its power or number of hits can be compared to the regular Kamehameha.

In my opinion:With the popularity with these three characters the announcement, I feel will further fighting game enthusiast anticipation on getting their hands on Dragon Ball FighterZ. Kid Buu has always been one my favorite character to use in previous Dragon Ball Z fighting games. Before the announcement, he was my most anticipated character for Dragon Ball FighterZ, so you can imagine my excitement when he finally got revealed. Hopefully they will release the trailers soon for each character, so we can get a look of them in motion.Kid buu gotenks adult gohanLet us know your thoughts in the comment section on the three new characters for Dragon Ball FighterZ. Will you being trying them out? Which characters from Dragon Ball Z would you like to see be announced next?

Call of Duty: WWII is one of this years most anticipated titles releasing on the PlayStation 4. It was announced earlier this summer, a beta would be releasing for the shooter first on PS4 August 25th (for those who Pre Order), with the open beta starting for everyone else on September 1st. If you’re one of those people (like myself) dying to get your hands on the game, maybe this bit of information about the new create a class system will hold you until then. Call of Duty: WWII releases for the PS4 on November 4th, 2017.

Call of Duty WWIIThere will be five divisions which will be included in the Call of Duty:WWII beta, here’s an overview of each division from the PlayStation Blog:

Armored Division:
This Division specializes in laying down a withering offense to buy their team breathing room. Their bipod-equipped light machinegun shreds lightly armored targets, while their armor protects them from enemy explosives, tactical equipment and flamethrowers. When extra punch is required, the Anti-Tank Grenade sticky bomb is the ideal choice.

Division Skill:
LMG Bipod III: Protect territory by mounting your machinegun on ledges or while prone for less recoil
Division Training

Armored III:Immune to Shell Shock and Tactical Equipment. Take less
fire damage. Take less explosives damage.Amored Division

Mountain Division
Remaining undetected, this Division excels at covert operations and stealth gameplay. When armed with sniper rifles, the Mountain Division prefers to stay at a distance, waiting patiently for the perfect shot. If detected, smoke grenades and the S-Mine 44 “Bouncing Betty” provide opportunities to escape or retaliate.

Division Skill
Sniper Sharpshooter III: Block out your surroundings and in return acquire aim assist and enemy names while holding breath.

Division Training
Mountain III: Invisible to enemy Recon Aircraft while moving. Hidden to player-controlled Streaks. Quieter Movement.

mountain divisionAirborne Division
This maneuverable Division is usually the first to the fight, parachuting into the thick of the action. Armed with suppressed submachine guns, these frontline fighters excel at taking and holding enemy positions until more heavily armored reinforcements arrive.

Division Skill
SMG Suppressor III: Hides muzzle flash and prevents gunfire from appearing on enemy mini-maps, but reduces the range of weapon.

Division Training
Airborne III: Sprint for longer distances. Climb over obstacles faster. Increased sprint speed.

Expeditionary Division
Armed with a hearty supply of explosives and tactical equipment, the fighters specialize in sabotage, infiltration, and close-quarters combat. Their special Division Skill loads devastating incendiary shells into their shotguns to set fires and terrorize their opponents.

Division Skill
Shotgun Incendiary Shells III: Shotgun shells that spark flames that burn enemies.

Division Training
Expeditionary III: Select a piece of Tactical and Lethal Equipment. Throw equipment faster, farther & while sprinting. Resupply equipment from killed enemies.

Infantry Division
As all-around combat specialists, the Infantry Division emphasizes marksmanship and rarely misses their shots. Special training on the use of the bayonet makes Infantry riflemen a threat at all ranges.

Division Skill
Rifle Bayonet III: Special training on the use of the bayonet makes Infantry riflemen a threat at all ranges.

Blazblue Cross Tag Battle Teaser Trailer

What’s Up PlayStation Nation,

Arc System Works is at it again dropping new fighting game for fighting game enthusiast. During EVO 2017 they announced BlazBlue Cross Tag Battle. It’s a cross-over 2D fighting game that will arrive on console in 2018. It will feature characters from illustrious Arc System Works fighting game franchise like BlazBlue, Under Night in-Birth, Persona 4 Arena Ultimax, and newly joining the fighting game scene RWBY.

Ragna The Blood Egde:
blazblueYu Narukami:persona 4 arenaHyde Kido:Under Night in BirthRuby Rose:RWBYIn my opinion: Just giving me a game where I can battle with some of my favorite fighting game characters from Arc System Works, is a huge win for me personally. I can’t wait to mix it up with some of my favorite Under Birth in-Night and BlazBlue characters. Just please have Byakuya in this game! I do personally feel this game will be a console exclusive on PS4 and will also have a PC release later within 2018.

Tekken 7- Geese Howard Reveal Trailer

What’s Up PlayStation Nation,

It is really fascinating to see Geese Howard making his way into the Tekken 7 ring later on this year. Geese is a notable legendary character from the Fatal Fury/The King of Fighters series and will have the chance to face off against the Tekken legends like Heihachi or Kazuya, making the statementI’ll destroy you all!Geese Howard T7In my Opinion: Players that use Geese Howard will have their opponents in fear with Atemi Nage counter as you send foes to the ground that gets in contact with you or if they approach send Geese’s famous wind slash Reppu Ken with both single and double versions present. I’m definitely loving how Bandai Namco kept a lot of the traditional Geese Howard specials and incorporated them into the 3D space of Tekken 7. It’s very similar to what they did with Akuma, great job!Geese Howard Winter 2017

Street Fighter V: Abigail Reveal Trailer

What’s Up PlayStation Nation,

During EVO 2017 at Street Fighter V top 8, Capcom finally revealed their next SFV season 2 DLC character. Abigail is the biggest man in Metro City will be available on July 25th and has bulked up since his Final Fight days. Abigail is eight feet tall, making him the largest character in SFV.  He isn’t just a command grab character as most would probably assume. He brings with him plenty of tools and a special called Nitro Charge run. Which is cancel-able and can lead into multiple follow-ups like his stiff punch, cumbersome overhead, command grabs or V-Skill. abigail sfv

What does Abigail have to offer in Street Fighter V?

V-Skill: HungabeeV-SkillAbigail thrusts his size-able belly forwards (either high or low) countering the opponent’s attack and setting himself up for a combo opportunity.

V-Trigger: Max PowerV-TriggerAfter popping his two-bar V-Trigger, Abigail can charge up his four different heavy punches for one hit of armor and extended juggles. A full charge will break the opponent’s guard.

Critical Art: Abigail SpecialCAAbigail slams his opponent with a downward open-palm strike that puts them into a daze. He then hoists them into the air, pummels them like a makeshift speed bag before launching a savage hook that shatters the screen.

Abigail’s Movelist:Abigail MovelistAbigail Movelist 2abigail Movelist 3

costume2costume1On July 25th alongside Abigail are his Story and Premium Battle costumes. He will come with his own personal stage, the Metro City Bay Area. If you take your fight to the distance on his stage, fans will get to witness the iconic sunrise from back in Abigail’s Final Fight days.metrocity

Season 2 Character Pass is available for $29.99 / €29.99 / £24.99 and will currently give you access to Akuma, Kolin, Ed and Abigail with two more brand new characters later within the year. The season pass also comes with Premium Battle Costumes with colors 3-10 and the default costume colors 3-10 for each character in SFV.Season passIn my Opinion: Abigail is definitely looking a like force not to be messed with. Though his size could be a gift and curse, making him susceptible to a lot attacks from all angles due to his large hit box. Or creating fear against the opposition with his large body and length for his normal’s and specials. I’m personally interested on getting my hands on Abigail. He’s not the type of character I would typically use in a Street Fighter game, but I just so see what type of mix-ups I can create after his Nitro Charge Run special.
