Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite Introduces Black Widow, Venom and Winter Soldier to the battle

What’s Up PlayStation Nation,

Happy holidays as we begin this week with some interesting news as released today via Capcom and the PS Blog here’s what they’ve laid out about the characters so far and you can check out the trailer with details below:

Young soldier Bucky Barnes fought alongside his best friend Captain America during World War II. Presumed dead after a dangerous mission ended in tragedy, he was captured by enemy forces and secretly brainwashed into becoming a deadly assassin known as the Winter Soldier. Bucky, now free from his captors, is once again ready to fight for the good of humanity.

Winter Soldier excels at ground combat using special moves that send the opponent flying across the screen and projectiles that bounce off the walls and floor. Bucky can activate metal shield, which utilizes his cybernetic arm to turn him into an anchor, allowing him to ignore attacks without taking any damage!

Trained extensively in the art of combat and espionage and outfitted with state-of-the-art tech, Natasha Romanova is the super spy known as Black Widow. Dutiful and fearless, she is a master assassin who found her true calling as an Avenger. She now fights to protect the world from Ultron Sigma’s influence.

As a deadly spy, Black Widow has tools for every situation. Her unique acrobatic jump can be performed in mid-air and followed up with one of her many tricky projectiles with the press of a button. Natasha also showcases her skills in hand-to-hand combat with her trusty electric batons.

Blaming Peter Parker for the failure of his journalism career, former Daily Bugle reporter Eddie Brock bonded with a malevolent, symbiotic alien creature who had previously attempted to bond with Peter. United by the goal to destroy Spider-Man, they are the fearsome force known only as Venom!

Prepare for the unexpected with Venom’s shapeshifting abilities. As a frightening force on the battlefield, Venom can launch himself across all angles of the screen and has no issue manipulating the opponent’s options to favor his own.

Everyone who has the 2017 Character Pass will unlock access to Winter Soldier, Black Widow, and Venom on December 5 — along with the previously released Black Panther, Sigma, and Monster Hunter. Each character is also available for purchase individually.

Free Demo Weekend: 11/24 to 11/27

Capcom will have a free demo available this weekend from November 24 at 8:00 AM Pacific to November 27 at 8:00 AM Pacific, exclusively on PS4! The Demo will include All 30 launch characters so make sure to check it out this upcoming weekend and see if marvel is right for you!

(Editors Opinion: honestly Venom looks better than expected. It really seems as if the DLC characters have had more effort into their fighting style and art design more so than the default rosters of characters in this edition of MVCI. However minus the not so appealing looks this game is tons of fun. I do really appreciate the work put into the Winter Soldier, Venom and Black Widow for this DLC and I hope they are fun and accessible as they currently look to be. Only time will tell once we get our hands on it. The next TOA tournament should be pretty interesting with the inclusion of these fighters!)

With that being said What do you think of the new trio of  characters heading to MVCI soon. What other characters would you like to see for the next set of characters comment below let us know. Horizon Zero Dawn: Frozen Wilds New Banuk Trailer & New Trophy Details

What’s Up PlayStation Nation,

Guerrilla Games has shared a bit of details in regards to the making of the minimal prominent group in the game known as The Banuk Tribe. As per the PS Blog GG divulged some details for the “behind the scenes trailer” and more. Make sure to read the info below:

Horizon Zero Dawn: The Frozen Wilds was an opportunity to go back and delve into the culture of one of Horizon Zero Dawn’s most mysterious tribes. Although the Banuk didn’t feature prominently in the base game, the tribe’s rugged individuality, nomadic existence and harmonious relationship with natural and machine life set it apart them from all of the other tribes.

The developers went to great lengths to create tribes that would feel believable and at home in the environments they inhabited, and the Banuk tribe was no exception. In the video interview above, Studio Art Director Jan-Bart van Beek, Narrative Director John Gonzalez, Lead Concept Artist Roland IJzermans and Lead Writer Ben McCaw talk about the development of the Banuk tribe, and the ways in which Horizon Zero Dawn: The Frozen Wilds builds on the foundations laid in Horizon Zero Dawn.

You’ll be able to explore the Cut and discover the unique culture of the Banuk tribe for yourself when Horizon Zero Dawn: The Frozen Wilds launches on November 7th.

The Trophies are broken down into 2 sections one of them being known as Feats Trophies,

HZD Feats

and the next being known as Quest Trophies, HZD Quest

It’s rumored that the game adds as much as 15 hours of gameplay. Which is considerably generous for 14.99 DLC.

(Editors Opinion: I wasn’t originally interested in coming back to the game of Horizon Zero Dawn. Especially with me being the self admitted Platinum trophy whore of the WUPS crew. I felt that since I acquired my well deserved platinum. That I wouldn’t have a need to return to the game. But being invested in the base game and having since seeing this trailer. I will 100% return to the game as I look forward to delving more into Horizon Zero Dawn’s evolving lore. And the added incentive of new trophies makes the deal sweeter however having since achieving the platinum. I’m not as worried to complete 100% of the trophies but it does provide a nice incentive to close the game of the my current completion percentage of the game.)

Final Fantasy XV Multiplayer Expansion Comrades Delayed

What’s Up PlayStation Nation,

Final Fantasy XV has spoken of how it’s planned to keep the marquee title alive and well beyond it’s single player DLC in the past and we’ve reported on the previous Multiplayer expansion details. This week it has been revealed in a press release via Final Fantasy XV’s Twitter that the multiplayer expansion was set to release at the end of this month on October 31st but since has been set to release a bit later. Here’s what they had to say below:

“Due to final adjustments and to create the best possible experience, the online expansion Final Fantasy XV: Comrades will now be released in early November,” Square Enix

Editors Opinion: The Multiplayer was fun as well as surprisingly expansive as it showed some promising offerings. The action was fluid as well. My only personal hope is that the FFXV community that’s left truly gives this shot. It was a fresh and fun experience with friends but based on my experience within the time frame of the beta match making did require a bit of work and I feel based on my experience from the beta that this will be heavily reliant on player engagement. So if this this does not gain the correct response from gamers who may not be used to this change in content from a mainline FF title, it may or may not thrive. Of course this is just an early assumption. I hope it does well based on the efforts taken however as it is a very fun experience. But with the late implementation and desire of other games it could be a bit of a tricky road to entice gamers who have since completed the game’s mainline story.

This comes as no surprise just about as the beta build we’ve previously play was in need of a few fixes. This is not necessarily bad news as it’s better to have to a delayed game than a broken game as “some” gamers these days feel. But at any rate fans who have been excited for this expansion will have to hold off a bit longer. But what do you think? Are you looking forward to the Multiplayer expansion? Are you or aren’t you interested in the online implementation of a mainline Final Fantasy game later having online elements? We’d love to hear your thoughts so leave your comments below.
