Street Fighter V- Sakura Introduction Trailer

What’s Up PlayStation Nation,

Kicking off Season 3, Sakura is the first of the six new characters for the upcoming Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition fighters on January 16th, 2018. A lot has changed since we last seen Ryu’s number one fan, as Sakura now works part-time at an arcade. Season 3Sakura Fireball

Sakura brings a new special move to SFV, the Tengyo Hadoken. Where she can now send a fireball diagonally into the air that can act as an anti-air. Sakura fans don’t worry, she still remains the same to her pass iterations, with her Hadoken, Shouoken, and Shunpukyaku.Sakura V-Trigger Activation

Sakura’s Breakdown:

V-Skill: Haru KazeSakura V-skillSakura leaps into the air towards the opponent, which can then be followed up by three different options. Hitting punch will result in one of her signature moves, Sakura Otoshi, which can be pressed up to three times to continue the combo. Following up with a kick will trigger Oukakyaku, a forward flip that can act as a divekick. Finally, pressing throw (LP+LK) after Haru Kaze will result in Kashinfu, a command grab that that sees Sakura using her opponent as a spring board to jump back.

V-Trigger I: Haru ArashiSakura V-Trigger 1Upon activation, Sakura’s fists are enveloped by blue energy that powers up Hadoken and Tengyo Hadoken, giving them both an additional hit. Landing a hit will also cause your opponent to be put into a juggle state giving you an opportunity to land additional attacks. She can also press HP+HK again to use Hogasho, a powerful palm thrust.

V-Trigger II: Sakura SenpuSakura V-Trigger 2This time, Sakura’s fists and feet become enveloped by blue energy that powers up Shouoken and Shunpukyaku. Landing a hit will send your opponent flying into the air where you can cancel into V-Skill to follow up with either Sakura Otoshi or Oukakyaku. Both moves are improvements to their EX version and can be performed up to four times before Sakura Senpu ends.

Critical Art: Sakura RainSakura CASakura’s Critical Art draws inspiration from her past Super Combos. If used away from the opponent, it will only be a high-damaging Hadoken. However, if Sakura can land this Critical Art right next to the opponent, it’ll go into a special animation that deals significantly more damage.

What’s Up PlayStation Nation,Dragon Ball FighterZ ScanIn the latest issue of V-Jump, new Dragon Ball FighterZ information was released. Kid Buu, Gotenks, and Adult Gohan were recently adding to the lustrous roster for the highly anticipated Dragon Ball FighterZ. Thanks to ShonenGamez, for the scan with these three newly announced characters.  Details on the Arcade mode were also given. Explaining that players will face against multiple AI opponents, whether you win or lose it will determine the path you’ll take and who will face during your arcade play-through. Dragon Ball FighterZ will have a shop where you’ll be able to buy different color sets for characters and special titles using the in-game money that you earned. Dragon Ball FighterZ is set to release on January 26th, 2018.

Here is a brief breakdown on Kid Buu, Gotenks, and Adult Gohan:

Kid Buu

  • Power: 4
  • Speed: 4
  • Reach: 3
  • Technique: 4
  • Energy: 4

kid buuKid Buu has tricky attacks that make use of his elastic body. Since he has both power and speed, he can be a troublesome foe. He has unpredictable movements, such as stretching into the shape of a ball. His Meteor special attack is “Planet Burst”—that attack that destroys the earth. The opponent stands no chance once it hits.

Gotenks

  • Power: 3
  • Speed: 4
  • Reach: 1
  • Technique: 3
  • Energy: 4

gotenks SSJ3Unleash special moves with extremely flashy names one after the next! Continuous attacks that put adults to shame, with powerful special moves that don’t fail to live up to their name. Use the “Super Ghost Kamikaze Attack” to summon ghosts that deal damage upon impact. Use the Meteor special attack “Charging Ultra Buu Buu Volleyball” to imprison your opponent within multiple rings in the shape of a ball. From there, one of your team members will jump in and start playing volleyball. Finish it off with a spike! The scenes for some of Gotenks’ special moves will change depending on the combination of team members.

Adult Gohan

  • Power: 3
  • Speed: 4
  • Reach: 3
  • Technique: 4
  • Energy: 2

mystic gohanBorrowing the power of Old Kai, Gohan unlocked his potential. With special attacks, his abilities have significantly improved. Use all of the Ki Gauge to unlock your potential! Depending on the amount of the Ki Gauge consumed, the magnification of Gohan’s abilities increase will change. Gohan’s Meteor special attack is “Ultimate Kamehameha.” Neither its power or number of hits can be compared to the regular Kamehameha.

In my opinion:With the popularity with these three characters the announcement, I feel will further fighting game enthusiast anticipation on getting their hands on Dragon Ball FighterZ. Kid Buu has always been one my favorite character to use in previous Dragon Ball Z fighting games. Before the announcement, he was my most anticipated character for Dragon Ball FighterZ, so you can imagine my excitement when he finally got revealed. Hopefully they will release the trailers soon for each character, so we can get a look of them in motion.Kid buu gotenks adult gohanLet us know your thoughts in the comment section on the three new characters for Dragon Ball FighterZ. Will you being trying them out?
