SingStar CelebrationSingStar Celebration

SingStar Celebration is the new addition to our PlayLink family and as part of the range, you’ll be able to turn your compatible smartphone into a personal, pocket-sized microphone! The SingStar Mic is a free app for Android and iOS which will be available to download the same day the game releases.

The community is already alive and well as you can check out the thousands of fans singing their favorite tracks in the community here. Also you can get a sneak peak of the track listing here and add it to you Spotify playlist below:

Editors Opinion: Games like SingStar are great for parties, Although I haven’t taken part in any Karaoke events in a while. The Sing star series is great for kids and adults alike and if you’re familiar with the activeness from the PS3 community as it’s grown into the PS4 community the Sing Star Brand is one of PlayStation’s Hidden gems. Even at events like PSX (which we’ll have footage and articles of) You’ll come find that it’s one of PlayStation’s beloved franchised all while being in a niche gaming space. And with Android and iOS supported devices this has the possibility to expand into the next generation of PlayStation Gamer. Because who remembers having to pay for SingStar Mics right?

What do you think? Are you interested in this SingStar title? Are the tracks on this track-list to your liking? Comment below and let us know. For news like this and more make sure to check back with us here at What’s Up PlayStation.

Arc System Works Reveal more Characters for Blaze Blaze Cross Tag Battle!

What’s Up PlayStation Nation,

If you haven’t seen this weekend was quite the reveal and we’re not talking about football. We’re talking BlazeBlue: Cross Tag Battle. As we draw near the official release in 2018 Arc System Works has been privy with releasing details for this up and coming fighter. Well we’ve luckily been given the opportunity of another character reveal. And this time was it wasn’t just one character or game play. This go round it has revealed that Weiss Schnee is on the way to the BBCTB scene. As you can see below via the trailer that she’s not the only one that’s on the way. Check out the trailer below to see what we mean.

If you’re a fan in particular of the RWBY series you can see that Weiss is one of the fan favorites alongside others from the late great Monty Oum (Creator of the RWBY series). Moving forward, The trailer reveals not only Weiss but others such as Hazama from the blazeblue series.

Hazama-blazblue

As well as Rachel Alucard from the series.

Rachel_Alucard_(Chronophantasma,_Character_Select_Artwork)

As of now there is no set release date for the up and coming fighter only a release window of 2018. Although one would suspect that it will possibly release shortly after Dragon Ball FighterZ to avoid a conflict of interest and as well to let the Fighter game community (FGC) adjust and embrace the Dragon Ball FighterZ title first.

Editors Opinion: I am looking forward to this title as it has a great mixture of music from the Blazblue, UNIEL, RWBY and Persona 4 Arena Series. Although I particularly hope that they also include some characters from Persona 5. I am very much looking forward to playing this title. 3 Particular characters I am looking forward to and hoping to see on the roster are “Tager, V-13 (BlazeBlue Series) and Yang (RWBY Series). One can only hope, but overall this title is looking fantastic. I’m not too familiarized with the UNIEL characters outside of Mika, However I am looking forward to see what the lesser known titles are offering as well.

But what do you think? What characters would you like to see. How do you think the game play looks. Are you interested in this fighter at all? Comment below and let us know. For news like this and more make sure to check back with us here at What’s Up PlayStation.

Editors Opinion: If you’ve been a bit disappointed with the recent iteration of star ocean. This may be the title you’ve been looking for depending on your taste. I know for me personally this was of the star ocean games that took me a bit of a while to progress in but the grind was worthwhile. With that being said what do you think of this news are you interested in playing this Star Ocean Title? Have you play any of the other star ocean games or will this be your first Star Ocean game. Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition Announced to release January 16th

What’s Up PlayStation Nation,

In one of the worse kept secrets among the FGC Sony has finally revealed that Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition will be releasing January 16th 2018. As reported via the PlayStation blog and official Capcom site. It has been revealed that the much anticipated and requested feature Arcade mode will finally be included for all users of Street Fighter V. Included with this news is that all characters will be available for free once Street Fighter: AE is released. Capcom has stated “Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition will come with all 28 characters, which includes those from Season 1 and Season 2”  and they still have one more character that they will be announcing very soon.

  • All characters will receive a second V-Trigger you can choose prior to matches starting

  • All Season 1 and 2 Characters will be released for free for all SFV users.

received_10155218825572804.jpeg

More news will be released in the near future (PSX/Capcom Cup Finals, or PGW) here’s what capcom had to say in closing per the PS Blog.

As we promised in the past, the initial purchase of Street Fighter V is still the only one that you’ll need as the new gameplay-related content in Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition will be part of a free in-game update for current players once it releases! That means if you currently play Street Fighter V, you won’t need to purchase anything else to get Arcade Mode, Extra Battle Mode, etc. – you’ll just need to download the update! For those who don’t currently have Street Fighter V, you’ll be able to purchase Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition for $39.99, which will include everything we’ve mentioned above. We wanted to make sure there’s something to celebrate for both current and new players alike.

Editors Opinion: As a fan and lover of the Street Fighter Series this is good news and I hope that it can refresh and ignite a general interest in fans of the series and the FGC community. As many competitive Fighters are on the Rise (Dragon Ball Fighterz, Blazeblue Tag Battle etc.) Capcom has to remind the world the reason why street fighter has lasted for so many years (30 to be exact) and rekindle that competitive edge. Let’s see if this gives them that edge they so desperately need.

But enough of my thoughts what do you think of this news. Does this interest you to make time and the effort of purchasing the long respected fighter again or for the first time this gen? As you know with this news you can expect “The Online Arcade to have many more Tournament with this great news. With that being said comment below and let us know your thoughts. For more news make sure to keep it locked here at Whats Up PlayStation.
