Kingdom Hearts 1.5 and 2.5 Remix coming to PS4 in 2017

Next year will be the 15th anniversary celebration for the Kingdom Hearts series and Square Enix is already giving some hints on how they plan to celebrate this illustrious franchise. Early this morning on Twitter Kingdom Hearts 1.5 + 2.5 Remix was announceda collection of 6 remastered titles that will come to the PlayStation 4 on March 28th, 2017 for North America and March 31st, 2017 for European countries. As stated in the trailer, all six games will receive graphical improvements within the collection.


The PS4 collection includes Kingdom Hearts, Kingdom Hearts 2, and Birth by Sleep. Re:Chain of Memories, 358/2 Days and Re:coded has receive an upgrade to the “final mix” versions. Also lets not forget on January 24th, 2017 Kingdom Hearts 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue HD, which includes Dream Drop Distance, χ Back Cover and the new addition 0.2: Birth by Sleep- A Fragmentary Passage comes out as well for the PS4. That’s is a lot of Kingdom Hearts games for PS4 owners and Kingdom Heart enthusiast out there and I couldn’t be any happier.


The release of Kingdom Hearts 3 is still a bit unclear, but hopefully within the 15th year anniversary of the Kingdom Hearts series we could get some information on the release date.
