What’s Up PlayStation Nation,
PlayStation 4 owners can try The King of Fighter XIV for free, with a demo launching on July 19th. The demo will contain only 7 of the 50 massive KOFXIV roster of characters, which the final retail version will include. There will be no online functionalities within this demo unfortunately. The full retail game will have all your Online Modes/functions. Hopefully the netcode is refined to ensure having a great online experience with The King of Fighters XIV.
According to Neogaf, SNK has announced that, The King of Fighters XIV will have Cooperative online multiplayer called “Party Play“. Party Play puts two teams of three against each other to fight it out for team superiority. Also “Online Training“, pairing a beginner level player to an experienced player for training.
The King of Fighters XIV is set to release exclusively for the PlayStation 4 on August 23rd for North America, August 25th in Japan, and in Europe August 26th. Will you try out the demo? Are you excited for The King of Fighters XIV? Let us know in the comments below:
