What’s Up PlayStation Nation,
The PlayStation 4 has been on a hot streak ever since it launched. And now Sony has reported that the PlayStation 4 sold over 40 million units world wide, as of May 22 2016.
The PlayStation 4 is on the pace of being the fastest selling console, in the companies history. As the PlayStation 4 continues to outpace all 3 prior PlayStation consoles. Sony also announced that PS4 retail and digital titles from the PS store, has surpassed 270.9 million copies sold to gamer’s around the world. And has estimated selling 20 million more PlayStation 4’s by the end of the fiscal year, ending March 31 2017.
This is great news for the PlayStation brand, as it continues to be a strong driving force for Sony’s Success within the pass years. There are also a large amount of games yet to come for the PS4 in 2016, says Sony. Listing games such as The Last Guardian, Final Fantasy XV, Nioh, Yakuza 6, Grand Turismo SPORT, and Gravity Rush 2. Sadly Horizon: Zero Dawn wasn’t mentioned in the list of games Andrew House, the President and Global CEO of Sony Interactive Entertainment mentioned. Which leads us to assume the game might be pushed later to 2017. But there has been no confirmation from Sony or Guerrilla Games studios mentioning any delay.
E3 2016 is only a few weeks away. So look forward for more PlayStation new to come, within the weeks.
